Looking to give this beauty a new home. A vintage Avon Rose Morris Les Paul-style electric guitar, built in Japan during the early 1970s
This is a classic 'lawsuit era' Les Paul copy, made during the time when Japanese manufacturers were producing high-quality replicas of American icons. Distributed by Rose Morris in the UK, the Avon line offered incredible craftsmanship and tone at a fraction of the price

Avon Rose Morris copy of a LP guitar

Very nice guitar, light in weight and it plays nice at medium / low action.
Very unique and original pickguard.
It is a fun guitar to play and works perfectly.

The flaws:
- the back and sides were refinished, the plywood underneath can be seen.
- the bridge, although does the job, is not the proper one for this kind of guitars.
