Made in Japan by Yamaha in 1978, the SL700 was one of their high end Les Paul Custom models. Pancake mahogany body with a maple top and slim 60's mahogany neck, 22 fret ebony fretboard (13 75" radius, 43mm nut width block inlays), it weighs a solid 4 5kg's.
