Ibanez Les Paul Copy

Thisnguitar hasnt been tested prior, but it seems all the parts are there. Nevertheless, its being sold as parts guitar. A little bit of work and a couple back plates, and this guitar could easily be back up and running. My loss is your gain. Comes with an old-school hard-shell case. Looks likely it's a Japanese made guitar from the early 70's era

Complete 1978 Ibanez 2350, 2360, etc Les Paul Wiring Harness with original knobs, pots, input Jack / screws and toggle switch all intact. These knobs are very hard to come by let alone a vintage Ibanez harness in such nice condition. Great opportunity to restore that vintage Ibanez!

Here is a nice example of this instrument. I am not 100% it is a model 2350, but it's close a LP copy with bolt on neck and Super 70 pickups. NOTE: I have the exact instrument (black) with Gibson Pickups listed

The truss rod cover has the word "Standard" on it this is not a model designation from Ibanez Japan, rather I suspect it is a nod to Gibson LP Standards of the day

1977 Japanese Lawsuit Era Ibanez Super 70's Les Paul
This was a players guitar and not a museum piece. It has been played and shows signs of wear
At some point the hardware was changed. I am not sure what kind of tuners they are but it is a Gotoh bridge and ST (made in Japan) bridge. With regards to the bridge, it looks like the original post were pulled out leaving some chipping
The pickups are original
All of the metal parts have oxidation

For your consideration here is a 1973-74 Ibanez Les Paul style gold top electric guitar. Made in Japan, Pre-lawsuit collectors' guitar, note the open book headstock. It has a bolt on neck. Non-original replacement tuners. Replaced bridge pickup, neck pickup might be original but is microphonic and metallic sounding. Frets are worn but playable, higher frets could use a dressing. Pots slightly scratchy but not bad. All electronics / switches work fine. Sounds great. Includes non-original SKB ... more

Up for sale is a nice, used Ibanez Custom 2350, made in 1977. This guitar is nice overall condition. There are normal signs of use, including some light scratches and dings. There is some tarnishing to the metal surfaces. The tuners have been changed out. There is little to no fret wear. This plays and sounds great. This comes with a nice Gator hard case. Weight on this is just over 8 pounds.

This is a lovely vintage Ibanez LP custom manufactured in Feb 77'. It still has the super 70 humbuckers, the tuners and bridge have been replaced with nice quality gotoh hardware
There's still life in the frets and it has a nice action, so it feels really nice!

Although many Japanese guitars claim to be "Ibanez " , unless it's wearing that glorious word on the headstock it's just not the same! Made in 1975, the 2342 59'er model features an unbound arched birch top, mahogany body, slim 60's maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and weighs 4 2kg's.
