Columbus Les Paul Copy

Gorgeous vintage 1970s Les Paul copy made in Japan in the lawsuit era.

This is one of the far superior models as indicated by the large diamond lozenge inlay on the headstock and its weight. It feels like a Les Paul.

COLUMBUS LES PAUL LAW SUIT ERA 1970??s ELECTRIC GUITAR / MADE IN JAPAN

Purchased about 6 months ago and was working through a small squire 15 amp. I am not an electric guitar player but still this guitar to me appears to be in really nice condition. I can see no cracks or chip outs. The action is really low. The binding looks excellent to me. It was covered with dust that I gentle removed. Been dried stored since the purchase. This guitar was found at the back of a wardrobe after the death of my father-in-law. It probably hasn??t been played since the1990s and is a 1970s vintage guitar
After some research it suggests that the guitar was the subject of a law suit between the Japanese manufacturer and Gibson, where Gibson claimed that certain aspects had been copied from the Les Paul model
It comes with two spare strings, but is missing the E-1st string
