Here we have a super nice and very unusual Vintage Hondo II Electric Guitar H741 Les Paul Copy. This is a made in Japan copy of the famous American guitar brand and is from the 1970??s (most likely 1972 - 1977). There are a few chips in the paint mainly on the back of the guitar. Well set up with new strings it has a super low action and a great tone. A much sought after guitar from way back in the day. A Hondo II electric guitar in sunburst finish, a 1970s Japanese copy of a Les Paul, made in Korea. Age related marks but good overall as seen, could do with some light restoration- cleaning of tone pots etc. One screw is missing from the truss rod cover and one of the others isn't original, there's also a crack in the pickup selector switch plate as pictured. I'm not entirely sure that the bridge is original, this is for the buyer to decide but it does at least suit the colour scheme. A cool ... more

Bought new in 1982. Just tested it and all seems fine and working well. Needs new strings though. Bit of a small ding in the back of the neck (pictured) but otherwise nice condition overall. Selector switch plastic tip is missing, but easily replaced. Collection only, it's fairly weighty. Comes with a padded gig bag
