Nice case .great fit for Les Paul Junior double & single cut. case pocket is detached, all latched and hinges are good. The handle is fine. The stitching is all good. Measures 13 5 inches wide at the lower bout, 9 25" wide middle waist, 9 75" wide upper bout, Body length 23 inches long, overall 39 5 inches long and Three inches deep. It's clean inside and looks overall good with some signs age. The two tone look is cool.... more

Hard to find 1970's Kay, Les Paul recording copy. The Guitar shows general signs of use, with some nicks and dings here and there, mainly to the top of the headstock and a couple on the neck. This is to be expected of a 50 year old guitar and does not affect the playability of the instrument. The walnut finish on the body has faded a lovely green with the only major defect being a small blemish near the neck pickup, about the size of a 5p coin. In a very much played condition (see copious photos), has been well gigged. Has plenty of dints, dents, buckle rash, scraps and swirls Effects have been taken out. The guitar is vol, vol, tone like a jazz bass circuit. With the edition of phase in and out selector switch which is working. Paper in oil tone capacitor. Needs the pots cleaning a bit but it does work. And sounds 'OK'. The front pickup has been flipped ... more

Probably made in Japan, though some Kay's were made in Korea. Free 1960's zip-up guitar bag & strap. New strings - Rotosound 9's. Intonation correct. Lemon oiled fretboard
Sounds good. Long sustain when amped & the body gives a good acoustic sound unplugged, more like a Tokai than an Epiphone for example
Mine since 1990's, it came with its authentic 'relic' look, including what looks like strap / belt studs embossed on back. I'm almost happy to let it go, hopefully to a collector... more
